After clinching a 1-0 victory over Zamalek, El-Ahly star Ahmed Fathi stated that he is happy with the way he played in the game and expressed his delight as he was highly praised by the technical staff after the match.

Fathi was informed about his new position during the warm up due to Shady’s sudden injury. He wished to be successful in the match especially Zamalek have talented strikers but the game was easier than he had expected.

Fathi dedicated this win to El-Ahly fans whom he loves so much. and thanked the technical staff who paid tribute to him.

Mo'taz Ino expressed his joy with his great performance throughout the match saying that it was a result of his parents’ prayer.

He said he was surprised during the pre-match lecture to be included in the starting line-up As soon as he heard  his name he did not continue hearing the rest of line-up so that

He was surprised by the excluding of Abou-Treika from the starting eleven  just few minutes before the game!

He added that he was trained very well in the last days in order to be ready at any time like it happened in the Super cup match. he distributed his effort over the game to be physically fit.

veteran Ahmed Hassan stated that he has not warmed well so his performance during the match was affected negatively as he warmed up for only five minutes in the dressing room but he took advantage of his experience to distribute his effort throughout the game.He added he was happy to win because it is a good step in the team journey towards winning the Egyptian league.

While rising star, Mohammad Samir thanked his teammates as they supported him during the match and expressed his delight to appear in a good status. He stressed that he is under the request of the technical staff saying that  Jose ‘s instructions had the effect of magic.
